An organizational meeting was held on November 1, 2024, for the participants and coordinators of the international grant «Improving eco-skills through cross-border cooperation between V4 and Ukraine». The project began on October 1, 2024, and will continue until October 31, 2025.
This joint initiative involves three higher education institutions: Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko (Ukraine), Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland) and the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (Slovakia). The grantee is the NGO «EcoInitiative», Sumy (Ukraine).
The meeting served as a platform for planning various online events and an in-person international school scheduled for May 2025 in Słupsk, Poland.
Notably, cooperation agreements for the project's joint implementation and the first planned event, the International Online Webinar, were already signed by the time of the meeting.
During the organizational meeting, the Program for the International Online Webinar «Joint Strategies for Regional Environmental Challenges» was discussed. It is scheduled to be held on November 20, 2024.
On behalf of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, the following members of the project group took part in the meetings: PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Yu.V. Kharchenko, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor L.P. Mironets, and the Project Coordinator, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor O.M. Babenko. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the EcoInitiative NGO, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor V.M. Toryanik. On behalf of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, the coordinator is Galina Tkachenko, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Biology of the Pomeranian University in Slupsk, and on behalf of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, PhD, Deputy Dean for Science and International Relations of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology Dominika Veselényeová, and an applicant for higher education, Artem Mironets.

1 листопада 2024 року відбулася організаційна зустріч між учасниками та координаторами міжнародного гранту, який розпочато 1 жовтня 2024 року та триватиме до 31 жовтня 2025 року.
Цей проєкт реалізується спільно трьома закладами вищої освіти: Сумським державним педагогічним університетом імені А. С. Макаренка (Україна), Поморським університетом у Слупську (Польща) та Університетом св. Кирила і Мефодія у Трнаві (Словаччина). Грантоотримувачем є ГО «ЕкоІніціатива», м. Суми (Україна).
Під час зустрічі партнерами заплановано ряд онлайн івентів та проведення однієї очної міжнародної школи у травні місяці у м. Слупськ (Польща).
На час проведення організаційної зустрічі вже підписано договори про співробітництво для спільного виконання проєкту та договір на виконання першого запланованого івенту – Міжнародного онлайн вебінару.
Під час організаційної зустрічі було обговорено Програму проведення Міжнародного онлайн вебінару «Спільні стратегії регіональних екологічних викликів», проведення якого заплановано на 20 листопада 2024 року.
Від СумДПУ імені А.С. Макаренка участь у зустрічах взяли члени проектної групи – к.хім.н., доцент Харченко Ю.В., к.пед.н., доцент Міронець Л.П. та координатор Проєкту – к.пед.н., доцент Бабенко О.М. На зустрічі була присутня голова ГО »ЕкоІніціатива» к.б.н., доцент Торяник В.М. Від Поморського університету у Слупську координатором є д.б.н., професор, заступник директора Інституту біології Поморського університету в Слупську Галина Ткаченко, а від Університету св. Кирила і Мефодія у Трнаві – PhD, заступник декана з науки та міжнародних зв'язків Інститут біології та біотехнології Домініка Веселеньйова та здобувач вищої освіти – Артем Міронець.
