As part of the AMUSE Erasmus+ project and the partners’ visit to the Netherlands on October 1, Hogeschool Utrecht – University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) hosted an international symposium titled “Inclusion in Education with a Focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)”.
Leading experts shared the latest research and practical case studies on implementing AAC in inclusive educational environments.
The goal was to demonstrate how AAC can help children with communication difficulties overcome barriers to learning and interaction.
The event was led by Sofie Sergeant and Hanne Touw, who created a space for open dialogue, exchange of experiences, and a deeper understanding of inclusion and the vital role of AAC in education.
The symposium brought together educators from around the world who are committed to making education accessible for all.
